A Personal Experience!   

Dennis Blake is a retired male sprinter from Jamaica. He is a two-time Olympian, and a two-time World Championship participant winning the bronze medal at the 1996 Summer Olympics in Atlanta, Georgia and the silver medal at the 1995 World Championship Games in Goteborg, Sweden.


From humble beginnings, he is one of the few athletes that were privileged to participate in all major athletic track & field meets and to win medals in them. Dennis was blessed to compete in the following games:

Two Olympic Games (Barcelona, Spain & Atlanta, USA)

Two World Championship Games (Stuttgart, Germany & Goteborg, Sweden)

Two World University Games (Fukuoka, Japan & Sicily, Italy)

One Pan American Games (Mar del Plata, Argentina)

One Common Wealth Games (Victoria, Canada)
